Avatar + Trailer = Crazy!

Let me just say James Cameron is among our most talented film directors out there. But I was not hype in anyway about his upcoming movie "Avatar". I mean this dude's last movie was "Titanic" back in 97. I like the movie in all but I thought the guy had retired sittin on an island somewhere burnin money. Don't forget "Titanic" was the highest grossing film ever! But anyway I watched this trailer I can honestly say Mr. Cameron just changed my mind. I didn't really know what would be going on or what its really about but ummm I will definitely be in line this December for "Avatar"...The trailer is hot from my mouth to yo ears this joint look crazy! Take a peak...

So I've been hearing about this film for sometime its called "9" can anybody tell me what the hell that means? It seems like it would be a interesting movie and concept. I guess I thought it would be like "The Nightmare Before Chrismas" but after I saw it was rated PG-13 instead of PG it kinda made me look a little closer or mad me more interest the story. Perhaps this maybe better than all those CGI animated kids movies don't get me wrong those films like "Ice Age" and "Shrek" are cool (by the way I love Pixar movies) but it's like thats all we see is 3-D animation it's too much. What's up with cartoons goin AWOL I mean original 2-D animation thats what I wanna see make a come back but anyway this maybe but a little different...

Watchmen Kaos

So I guessin you have heard about all the drama surrounding the upcoming film adaptation of the DC Comic Watchmen. If you didnt know this is one of the biggest graphic novels of all time that Fox claim to have own the rights since the 80's but Warner which is a sister company of DC that all DC titles are release through. They started production for the film and Fox filed a law suit in early 07 I guess I'd sue em to if The Dark Knight was the biggest superhero movie of all time and made as much as it did. So Fox was seeking to hault its March 06 release this year. But I St. John am here to report that all is well comic lovers, geeks, nerds everywhere. Apparently 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. have reached common ground with the title. Fox is reportedly getting millions up front and a certain percent of the box office earnings. Honestly Im very very happy that this movie is going to be released. See yall March 6th...

St. John Meets Rihanna

Now I'm just walking through the mall with my sister getting some last minute Christmas shopping in. We just laughing and joking then I look up and I see this beautiful woman look at me dead in the face. So I hear a laugh from my sister Tasha while shes on her cell and she saids " Lord look at Rihanna". Remember we are in Richmond, VA this aint Beverly Hills...But anyway after she said that I laughed because I thought she was jus makin a joke, playin or something. So then I looked at Tasha laughin and I said " Mane, that aint Rihanna" she looked back at me like I was stupid and sure enough it was Rihanna. So I said "Yo I want me a picture" and Tasha said " You want one for real?" Tasha then starts walking behind her and Im tellin my sis nevermind, forget it, chill out all of the above, because I got a little nervous plus I know how celebs might not wanna be bothered all the time. And Tasha don't care if you got a million dollars or a million pennies she treat everybody the same. Now Tasha was catchin up to Rhianna as she walked in Saks Fifth Ave so finally Tasha stopped and talked to her like any other person she said " My Brother wants to take a picture with you can he" and I'm just staring a Rhianna in a daze and she said back "Well I can't take a picture in the store but I can sign something for you". And then I said with a small studder " I um I uh I aint got a pen on me...right now" Rhianna came back and said "I'm about to leave in a little bit, I can take one outside" so we said ok and waited for her like 15 mins. By this point people started recognize her and you know how groupies can be and remember she was in there all alone, by herself no security or nothing. 15 or so mins later she came on and turned right and kinda was doing a speed walk off to this fly ride with a chauffeur... Rumor has it that same week or before Chris Brown asked her to marry him and they got a house somewhere in Northern Virginia. I mean believe want you want this is a TRUE STORY and she was eyein me when I saw her...That was one crazy Christmas Eve.

Nutty Professor 3??? Fact or Fiction?

Yo what it is folks I thought I'd post just because, well because I feel like and this is my blog chump... I'd say this is fact thanx to the good folks at latino review and the trades. They're saying that it is a third installment of the Nutty Professor franchise on it's way to the big screen. Thats crazy but I hope to almighty GOD this movie is nothing like that Norbit trash lol. Another crazy thing is that they said Eddie Murphy isn't attached for the film which is just down-right-dumb-ass-ness! They said it's up to the new writer and director to determine if he will return. Whats up with these Hollywood idiots there is no Nutty Professor franchise without Eddie he is the franchise. I mean if they can give Johnny Depp 50 million some dollars to come back as Jack Sparrow they sure can break Eddie off. I guess it's still in it's early stages Eddie probably will sign on sometime in 09 so let me calm down. Stayed I will keep you posted...

I just thought I would speak my thoughts on the subject ya dig me? In all aspects of life rather it be politics, hip hop, religion it always has to be some one to come and redirect the focus. I guess kinda like Jesus Christ came to reinforce the gospel, not trying to compare anybody to Christ but you know what I mean. Kinda like hip hop is looking for a savior to bring the focus back to lyrics and I will come when the time is right lol...But the point I'm trying to make is that Barack is going to bring respect and integrity back to white house and politics for that matter. Everybody and they is political now. But heres a good example: If George Bush interupted ya favorite show you more than likely will turn him off but if Barack Obama came on you would probably would push the record button on ya DVR lol. That's what I'm sayin if Obama asked you to do something for your country you'd just be glad he asked and you'd do it but if Bush asked, shit you probably would cuss em out. Shit if Bill Clinton ask you probably wouldn't do it wit cha lazy ass lol. He's just gonna bring back respect and leadership to Washington D.C. that we really haven't seen since JFK ya dig me? In every aspect of life we need someone to come redirect the focus to where it belongs in an artform.
